Alejandro Peralta Melo is an attorney graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and an active member of the Dominican Republic Bar Association. He specializes in Administrative Law, with over a decade of experience as a consultant, university professor, and legal manager in this field. His practice encompasses litigation before the Superior Administrative Court, contentious-administrative appeals, proceedings before public administration bodies, and advisory on public procurement and government contracts. He has represented companies and institutions in disputes with regulatory agencies, achieving favorable outcomes in cases involving permits, licenses, and administrative sanctions. In addition to his professional practice, Alejandro has taught Administrative Law at the university level, allowing him to combine academic rigor with a practical perspective on legal practice. At the firm, he leads the public administration law and project development areas, advising domestic and international investors in obtaining permits and regulatory compliance for real estate, tourism, and infrastructure projects.
Antoliano Peralta Melo
Antoliano Peralta Melo is an attorney graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), with a postgraduate degree in Commercial Law and Private International Law from Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, one of Europe's most prestigious law schools. He is an active member of the Dominican Republic Bar Association. His international training provides a comparative perspective that is particularly valuable in cross-border transactions and in advising foreign clients with interests in the Dominican Republic. He has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, corporate advisory, labor law, and administrative proceedings. He has participated in structuring tourism real estate acquisitions, company formations, negotiation of complex commercial contracts, and estate planning for families with assets across multiple jurisdictions. Antoliano is distinguished by his ability to perform in high-demand environments, combining legal rigor with agile execution. At the firm, he leads the estate and tax planning, real estate and civil litigation, and economic criminal law areas, advising both Dominican entrepreneurs and international investors.
Antoliano Peralta Romero
Dr. Antoliano Peralta Romero is the founder of Peralta Romero & Associates, established in 1986 in Santo Domingo. He graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and completed his specialization in Real Estate and Construction Law at Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, France. With over 40 years of professional practice, Dr. Peralta Romero built one of the Dominican Republic's most respected law firms, specializing in tax, real estate, and administrative law. He has authored numerous legal articles on tax and property law topics that serve as references in the Dominican legal community. Throughout his career, he has advised domestic and international companies, real estate developers, and families on estate planning and the defense of their interests before the public administration. He ceased his duties at the firm after being appointed as Legal Counsel to the Executive Branch through decree no. 324-20 of August 16, 2020, and subsequently appointed Minister of Justice through decree no. 1-26 of January 5, 2026, a position he currently holds. His legacy and vision continue to guide the firm's work.
